Group Endorses Adabara for 2015 elelction in Okene

A group under the auspice of Citizens Forum, has called on the ppeople of Okene I constituency to support the emergence of  Hon Abdulrasheed Adabara as the PDP flag bearer for the 2015 assembly election.

The chairman of the group, Hon. Nuhu Abubakar noted that Adabara is the youngest and most popular aspirant and from his antecedent believed he could represent the yearnings and aspirations of his people. Decrying the sort of representation they had got in the past, Nuhu noted that the group decided to support Adabara for a common goal irrespective of political affiliation.

Hon. Abdulrasheed Adabara-Ovosi, an aspirant into the Okene I constituency of Kogi State House of Assembly picked nomination and intent form on Monday at the PDP state secretariat in Lokoja. Adabara was the first aspirant in the state to pick the nomination form.

The group said the one-time dormant community as regards who represent them had suddenly awakened because of the coming of Adabara knowing that his vibrancy in the house will definitely bring dividends of democracy to all. The group leader said with the popularity of Abdulrasheed Adabara-Ovosi, it is yet another opportunity for PDP to consolidate on their winning streak despite the rising profile of the APC occasioned by the attitude of past elected members.
