Kogi state university registrar dies in accident

The air of death hovering around Kogi State University seems to continue unabated with the demise of the Registrar of the institution, Mr. Joseph Audu Zhizhi, in an accident.

The sad event which occurred which occurred along Okene-Lokoja highway occurred in the early hours of Saturday, December 06, 2014.

Confirming the incident to our reporter, the Public Relations Officer of the University, Mr. Edogbo, who regretted the incident described the late registrar as a man that was committed to his duty as a registrar. He bemoaned the death, describing it as one too many in view of the recent lost of a senior lecturer, Dr. Justice Otitolaye, who was murdered by unknown gunmen.

He said the university has lost a rare gem, adding that the Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Hassan Isah, has also expressed sadness over the death.

Meanwhile, arrangements are in top gear for senior management of Kogi State  University to pay a condolence visit to the family of the deceased.
