Protest looms in KSU

There are indications that students of Kogi State University, dissatisfied by the lack of progress and uncertainty on the situation of industrial by staff of the institution have planned a massive protest at the Campus of the institution.
The latest move may not be unconnected with yesterday’s protest by the students of Lagos State University, Lagos, who protested the continued closure of their school.
Information reaching our news desk indicates that some students who have become disgruntled by the situation have decided to encourage others to join them in the planned protest match around Anyigba, the host community for Kogi State University.
According to the information, the students have bemoaned the sketchy information that they are getting, some of which have been disturbing and other unclear.
The organisers said the protest is meant to drive home their point and call on government to attend to the demands of the lecturers. They inferred that it was time to tell the government that enough is enough.
